It's recess this week (so I don't have any classes for the week), i do have some assignements to work on though. However, there's this business conference that took place this week as well, it was held on the 6th and 7th of September this week at the Sandton Convention Centre. I was unable to attend the first day, but thankfully made it for the last day and it was completely worth it.

A lot of great advice and insights from marketing experts like Mark Keating and global firms like AWS, some start-up tech companies like JustSolve. Conferences like these, for those in business and looking to get into business are always important and ones to always look out for.

Asides all the seriousness, being a homebody like me, this was fun to get out of the house for once with some friends. Oh and there was free popcorn, lot's of it lol... we came with money to buy food, but ended up only buying ice cream afterwards because of how much free popcorn we had. They also convinced me into drinking coffee which I hate and even after this, I still hate it, I don;t get why people love it lol, it's so bitter.

It was great memories, good conversations, prize raffles that we unfortunately didn't win, networking, window shopping, and being self guided tourists. Thursday was amazing, getting out the house every now and then does actually pay off, sometimes.
