In a world where most admire indifference

Unaware,

I stand different.

In a normal society, where most evade reality

They choose simplicity, I'd rather perplexity

I enjoy a challenge, the complexity

I am of a royal priesthood

We never conform to ways of this world

We'd rather they conform ours

They start trend taking the world by storm

A storm eliminating, all individuality

And the true purpose of their being

Technology, cars, money, fame,

Material is the main priority to most

Shoes, clothes, houses as well,

I care for none of it, when it all ends in vain

They agree to a typical lifestyle

All to be cool, all to fit in

All for fun

What do you prefer

Gaining the world and losing your soul

Eternally

Rather being ridiculed on earth

All for living

Anomally.

I choose that difference, that which distinguishes me

Setting me apart from the world

Giving me a new identity,

Difference,

The quality of being unlike or dissimilar

A variation deviiating from the standard or norm

A significant change

I am different

Moving against the current

Against all norms, against the odds

So long as God exists

And He gives life to thee,

So long live I.

To serve and make known

He who made me.

Imperfect being

Loved by a perfect God.
